By reading this blog you might think that we are weird or crazy, but really we are just tired. Since we have 4 children, and plan to have more. Even though we are constantly sleep deprived we love our children.

christmas
We hope everyone had a fabulous christmas. Our was perfect and very interesting. We got snowed in! Brig's ability to successfully drive in the snow came in really handy helping deliver food to neigbors and driving into town to help with last minute shopping. Our power went out at the house, which in a trailer makes for a very cold night. Luckly we could go to Brig's parents who had power and 2 fireplaces. We stayed there a lot because we either had no power, we afraid we'd lose power or that we wouldn't be able to get up the hill due to freezing rain if we did lose power. But luckily Christmas eve our power was restored and we had a nice warm well lit home for Christmas. It was a special one this year. Santa hit the bull's eye. Smaller is the way to go! Everyone got exactly what they wanted and not one child was overwhelmed. Neddie got princess dress ups (2 snow whites) and lliam got his hunting play set and costumes. Etta got a teddy and piano. They each got mini stuffed chairs that we made for them. It was great. After the snow came rain and flooding for the new Year. The best part of this Holiday season was being with family. We haven't had a christmas close to family in years. So having cousins and siblings and grandparents around was the really gift. We also got a new nephew - Miles Benjamin Ludwig. And to top it all off all of Brigs siblings were here after christmas (minus Tess's Ryan we missed you) but it was great to see everyone together. First time since tess and ryan's wedding May 06. Long time coming. Having the kids and us be able to bond with everyone and seeing the friendships strenghtened and made was great. We also got some other gifts this holiday season, continuous colds since thanksgiving. I'm sure we've been sharing them with family as well which we apoligize for. Gifts of love are what the season is all about. Happy New Years everyone! We love and miss you!
